Gideon
Gideon, a Christian in Eritrea, was arrested and brutally beaten after soldiers found a Bible in his possession. Severely injured, he fainted and was presumed dead. His assailants offered painkillers in exchange for renouncing his faith, but Gideon experienced a sudden and inexplicable relief from pain.
